We are excited to meet with our prospective undergraduate students. However, the department of Computer Engineering follows a strict procedure when admitting students into the program.

Entry Requirements

Applicants for the Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree programme will be required to have the following:

 Unified Tertiary Matriculation (UTME) Candidates: The Department accepts result from only Government approved examination bodies such as WAEC, GCE, NECO or its equivalents.   Admission to 100 level is through Joint Matriculation Examination in subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have Ordinary Level of General Certificate of Education, SSCE or its equivalents with at least five credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and one other science subject at not more than two (2) sittings.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates into 200 Level: In addition to the (i) above, DE candidates are required to have A-Level/IJMB or approved equivalent pass in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or a National Diploma in Computer Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline at Distinction or Upper Credit level from a recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology plus at least one-year post ND experience
